Mean Sammies is a hypothetical establishment of my own ideation that aims to deliver high-quality, quick, and quirky customizable sandwiches. As part of my certificate program, I am designing an app for users to customize and order from their menu. Mean Sammies wants to challenge the conventional sandwich ordering process - to really push the buns. In this case study, I explore a human-centered Design Thinking process in creating the best sandwich ordering process for my users through research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.

Taco Bell App Case Study

As a regular Taco Bell customer, I often place my orders in advance to pick-up. It has many benefits including skipping lines, tracking rewards, customization options, and (ideally) a smooth ordering experience. A minor pain point I’ve hit when ordering on the Taco Bell app is when I add a Cravings Box to the shopping cart. Despite having multiple late nights of mobile orders, I often find myself still making the same silly mistake. In this mini case study, I explore three alternative solutions for this bug.

This task-flow focused study explores designing an interface that's reflective of a company's branding. The Shiva Yoga Shala is a local studio in Fort Myers, Florida. They do not have an independent app and utilize Mindbody for class registrations. Since my intent for this case study is to focus on developing my high-fidelity prototyping skills on Figma, digital design, and branding, I only designed a few screens of a hypothetical mobile app.
